Fees
The session fee for most of our psychologists is between $240 and $280 per 50 minute session during business hours. Evening sessions attract an additional $20 fee. Discounts may be available for Healthcare Card holders, but we do not offer bulk-billing.
The fee for our Provisional Psychologist is $140 per session. Please note that Medicare rebates are NOT available for Provisional Psychologists.
The Australian Psychological Society's recommended fee for psychologists is $280 + GST per hour and this is usually charged in full for assessments and reports that are required for legal proceedings/purposes.
The out-of-pocket cost will vary depending on the clinician's fee and whether rebates are available from Medicare or your private health insurers. Please call us to clarify.
Some of our psychologists are able to accept referrals via CAREinMIND Targeted Psychological Support Service (previously known as ATAPS) and CAREinMIND Suicide Prevention Service. These services allow Healthcare Card holders to access psychological treatment with no out of pocket cost. If you think you may be eligible, please discuss this with your GP.

Payment Policy
You will be asked to pay your fees on the day of the session. We have a HICAPS machine so that Medicare and private health insurance rebates can be processed on the spot. Medicare rebates are refunded to an Eftpos account, but cannot be refunded to a credit card.
Payment can be made via Eftpos or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). We do not accept cash, cheque, or AMEX.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you are not able to attend your session.

If you provide between 12 and 24 hours notice you will be charged 50% of your session fee + GST.

If you provide less than 12 hours notice you will be charged the full fee + GST.

GST applies to cancellation fees as no healthcare service has been provided.
